OUR STAFF

At Lambeth Care Service each carer undergoes continuous training that ensures that we deliver the highest quality services to you. This training includes appropriate Health & Safety issues such as Food Hygiene, Lifting & Handling and handling hazardous substances.

All our staff are trained in Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, Infection Control, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety.

In addition, all our care workers will have either already attained or be in the process of attaining an QCF (former NVQ) in Health and Social Care.

Once we understand your specific needs, we will offer a tailored solution. All our carers, all personnel are carefully selected and DBS checked for your peace of mind.

Quality Care and Training

We believe that as a company, our service can only be as good as the staff providing it. Paramount to this is the selection, induction and ongoing training of our staff.

Our staff selection is based on an interview, a minimum of 2 meaningful references, DBS Check, qualifications, literacy skills and communication.

We are looking for respectful, non-judgemental, accepting, tolerant, valuing and most importantly caring, warm and compassionate people, who will always act in the best interest of our clients.

We ensure that our service remains exceptional, by constantly monitoring our staff and acting quickly and consistently on identification of any shortfalls in the service provision. High quality training and support for staff is essential for achieving the high standards of care of which we are so proud. We therefore expect and require all staff to take part in our training programme for the development and ongoing updating of their skills.
